London Bridges

It all came down with the pale moon rise shown in our eyes with never meeting glances
Listless talks no more dances Stillborn thoughts died before uttered
Nothing left in common lovers
Checked their watches their phones their bread-and-butter
Left their beds left no letter
Love in triangles weights the right and skews the others

Gone are arms nurture mother
Abort your pressing buttons
Away the lips that lent the dresser
Emptied pockets
Empty drawers
Hung about bed posts
Framed in fervor
Now lay neatly
Sleep no more
